Students briefed on anti-child marriage laws

Noney, May 09 2025: Noney district administration and District Child Protection Unit, Noney in collaboration with One Stop Centre organised an awareness programme on anti-child marriage laws at Charoi Chagotlong High School, Tupul in Noney district on Friday.

During the campaign held in connection with Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat (Child Marriage Free Bharat), the students were made aware about the adverse effects of child marriage in education, health and development and legal implications.

As a part of the programme, the student attendees took a pledge to oppose child marriage and contribute their mite for fruition of the government's objective to stop child marriage.
