Many extend Eid-ul-Adha wishes

Imphal, June 06 2025:
Many have extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Manipur, especially the Manipuri Muslim brethren on the arrival of the auspicious event.
In separate releases, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, All Manipur Muslim Students' Organisation (AMMSO), All Manipur Meitei Pangal Clubs' Organisation (AMMPACO), All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organisation (AMESCO), Manipur Federal Organisation and Democratic People's Front wished the people of Manipur and particularly followers of Islam.
Stating that the festival celebrates values of obedience, sacrifice, compassion and unity, the organisations said that all differences fade between the rich and poor, between social classes as Muslim community comes together with purity of heart and shared purposes.
They also prayed for those who are suffering, the victims of the recent flash flood and the displaced and affected people from long standing ethnic conflict and violence in the state, and for peace, prosperity, unity and harmony.
Meanwhile, in his Eid greeting, Singjamei MLA Yumnam Khemchand prayed to the Almighty to strengthen the bond of brotherhood among the different communities in Manipur and wished for peace in the land.
