Eye, medical camps organised

Imphal, May 04 2025:
A free eye camp and screening programme was held on Sunday at Heirangoithong Bamon Mandop in Imphal West, benefiting around 90 individuals with various eye care services.
The camp was jointly organised by Vision Eye Plus and Thounaphabi Village Level Federation (VLF) with the aim of providing accessible eye health services to the local community.
It offered a range of services including computerised eye testing, screening for cataract and pterygium, and diagnosis of common eye conditions such as conjunctivitis and allergies among others.

Meanwhile, Disabled Development Association Manipur (DDAM) and Youth Development Foundation (YDF), Oinam, Wangoi jointly organised one day free medical camp at Oinam Sawombung community hall on Sunday.
During the camp, a team comprising Dr Iqbal, Dr Oinam Aajmir and Dr Ramijan provided health examination and consultation service to over 30 locals.
Medicines were also distributed to those in need.
