Training on integrated farming underway

Imphal, July 22 2024: A month-long training programme on integrated farming for youth and students of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Agricultural Sciences commenced from Monday at the institute under the joint conduct of the Agriculture Department and the institute.

Agriculture Department's Rainfed Area Development Program (RADP) nodal officer Nisha Ningthoujam, and director of the institute RK Imotomba attended the inaugural function as chief guest and president respectively while associate professor of the institute Dr Chongtham Baru and Manipur Technical University assistant professor Nongmaithem Anand were present as resource persons.

Farmers as well as staff and students of the institute are participating in the training.
