Imphal, July 13 2025: Volunteers of Yaiskul Voluntary Organisation (YVO) mended potholes in between Keishamthong and Yaiskul Krishna Premi Inter Village Road under the aegis of Yaiskul MLA Th Satyabrata.

From early Sunday morning, YVO volunteers started repairing of the potholes along the road stretch, which separates Yaiskul and Sagolband ACs, while MLA Satyabrata took the initiative of laying WBM for black-topping the mended potholes.

YVO president S Saratchandra told media persons that Keishamthong-Krishna Premi junction road is very important as traffic is often diverted through this road whenever important functions are held at 1st MR or secretariat area.

However, the road stretch remained unattended for a long time with potholes dotting the route thereby causing severe inconvenience to public particularly during rainy season.

Without waiting for the government, YVO took the initiative of mending the potholes with contributions from members and local shops and establishments, he said adding that local MLA also took the initiative of black-topping the mended potholes.
