GPRN Khurmi Region directs contractors

Imphal, July 10 2025: Government of the People s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN), Khurmi Region has directed all contractors/construction firms not to indulge/involve in bidding contract tenders below the scheduled rate of quotations, saying such practice often leads to compromising the quality on any development works.

In a release, GPRN Khurmi Region stated that no recommendation of work orders below the actual rate quoted in the tender works should be given out within the Khurmi region.

This directive is issued to all departments concerned and contractors/sub-contractors/contracting firms for strict compliance and proper implementation of works failing of which necessary action/penalty will be awarded without any further notice, it cautioned.
