Imphal, June 06 2025: A Committee for Observance of 24th The Great June 18 Uprising-Unity Day, has been formed at a joint meeting of members of AMUCO and UCM at the latter's Lamphelpat office on May 19 .

According to a release, AMUCO president Ph Nando Luwang has been appointed as the Committee chairman, UCM president YK Dhiren vice chairman, UCM secretary general Shanta Nahakpam convenor, AMUCO secretary general Pratap Leishangthem co-convenor, UCM finance secretary as finance sub-committee convenor, AMUCO finance secretary Mocha Takhellambam as finance sub-committee co-convenor, UCM secretary (Organisation) Dipanjit as programme sub-committee convenor, AMUCO secretary Krishna Chandra Khuman as co-convenor of programme sub-committee, AMUCO secretary publicity Heishnam Foreign as publicity & mobilisation sub-committee convenor and UCM IPR secretary Soibam Anil as co-convenor of the publicity & mobilisation sub-committee.
