State logs eight new Covid cases

Imphal, July 01 2025:
The state recorded eight new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative cases to 263 cases out of 892 tests conducted since June 16, according to the latest Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) report.
The figures translate to a cumulative positivity rate of 29.5 per cent, indicating ongoing community transmission in certain areas.
Imphal East and Imphal West districts reported four cases each.
The state currently has 92 active cases while 13 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, said the report.
Home isolation remains the primary mode of treatment.
Of the 92 active cases, 87 individuals are recovering at home.
A total of 155 patients have been discharged after completing the mandatory seven-day isolation period in accordance with the state's COVID-19 guidelines.
