Status of central schemes reviewed

Imphal, May 28 2025:
A review meeting was held at the Senapati DC's Conference hall on May 26 to assess the implementation status of the PM-JANMAN and PM-Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) schemes in the district.
Deliberations at the meeting covered 13 key interventions across multiple ministries.
These include initiatives under the Ministry of Rural Development - such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) - as well as the Ministry of Jal Shakti's Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), the National Health Authority's PM-JAY, and programmes under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare targeted at Particularly Vulnerable Trib dl Groups (PVTGs) as part of PM-JANMAN .
Those present emphasised that the effective execution of these initiatives is critical to improving the socio-economic conditions of PVTGs in the district and called on relevant departments to accelerate their work progress and ensure timely and efficient implementation, particularly in vulnerable areas.
The meeting also focused on achieving saturation of scheme benefits across the district.
For effective implementation of PM-DAJGUA scheme in the district, officials provided a strategic overview of the mission, highlighting its multi-sectoral approach and alignment with PM-JANMAN to uplift tribal communities.
To strengthen implementation and monitoring mechanisms, two dedicated teams were constituted: the Senapati District Level Committee (SDLC) and the Block Level Implementation Team (BLIT).
District Level Officers (DLOs) were instructed to extend full cooperation and proactive support to BDOs .
