SK Women's College conducts student induction programme

Bishnupur, July 25 2025:
An induction programme for newly-enrolled students of SK Women's College for the academic session 2025-26 to make them aware of the faculties, facilities and activities in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020 was held at the indoor hall of the college, on Friday.
The induction, programme jointly organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College and programme organising committee, was attended by its controller of examinations Salam Chandrakumar Singh and principal Dr RK Lokendra Singh as chief guest and functional president respectively while Organising Committee convenor N Budha Singh and IQAC co-ordinator Dr Salam Sovachandra Singh were the guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sovachandra pointed out that primary objective of the programme is to facilitate interaction between the newly-enrolled students and the faculty members from 25 departments of the college.
The event also aims to acquaint the students with the various facilities available on campus and to help them begin their academic journey smoothly, he said.
The principal expressed confidence that the new students would be given proper guidance and encouraged to make the most of their graduation courses, as well as to follow the academic calendar effectively.
