Imphal, June 06 2025: In recognition of the vital role played by members of Arambai Tenggol in rescuing people during the recent floods, Diamond TV and Wahong Radio donated Rs 50,000 along with essential relief materials to the organisation.

Speaking at the hand-over event, Diamond TV and Wahong Radio managing director James Heigrujam informed that the cash and relief materials were pooled in by Meitei Nongsa team, Sorojini, Dr Meina, Ashem Jiten, donors from Diamond TV and loyal listeners of Wahong Radio.

He pointed out that the assistance was offered as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement for Arambai Tenggol's selfless service to society.

He lauded Arambai Tenggol for instilling sense of patriotism among the masses and fostering a deep sense of love for the motherland among the youth of Manipur.

In addition, financial aid of Rs 2,000 each was provided to families of Diamond TV donor members who have been affected by the flood.
