Public auction to be held at BSF Loktak HQ

Imphal, July 05 2025: A public auction of unserviceable government items will be held at the 10th Battalion BSF Headquarters in Loktak, Kom Keirap, near the NHPC Project in Bishnupur district, on Sunday (July 6, 2025), at 10 am .

According to a notification issued by the office of the commandant, 10 Bn THQ Loktak, the auction will include a wide range of unserviceable items such as defence stores, fire-fighting equipment, tentage, welfare stores, ration PM, communication and construction stores, ammunition stores, MT U/S spare parts and batteries, tarpaulins, TTF, and other miscellaneous equipment.

Interested bidders are required to register with the commandant at least one hour before the auction begins.

A refundable or adjustable earnest money deposit of Rs 10,000 must be made during registration.

Bidders must also present valid identification, including their original Aadhaar-card, PAN card, and GST number.

Failure to produce these documents will result in disqualification.

All items will be auctioned on an "as-is-where-is" basis, with no warranties or guarantees.

The successful bidders must make spot cash payments and take immediate possession of the items.

Cheques will not be accepted, and no transport assistance will be provided by the BSF for the removal of items from the premises.

The commandant reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without providing a reason.

In the event of a strike or bandh in the state on the scheduled date, the auction will be held on the next working day.

Applicable GST will be levied on the final bid amount, and further instructions, if any, will be given at the time of auction.
