She added, "Anyone who plants a tree is thinking about the future.
It is a selfless act that will benefit generations to come.
And it is equally important to nurture the saplings after planting them" .
Pooja also urged the students to develop a sense of social responsibility and to live consciously, keeping in mind their duties to society.
She wished them success in all their future endeavours.
The tree plantation was carried out in and around the school premises by the DC, along with the divisional forest officer Yaikhom Romabai, Bishnupur ADM Toijam Opendro, additional SP, the principal of JNV Bishnupur, district level officers, teachers, students, and other officials.
