Imphal, September 20 2026: Three healthcare institutions of Manipur received National recognition at AHPI Leadership Awards 2026 .

Three healthcare institutions from Manipur namely; Mother's Care Children Hospital and Research Centre, Babina Specialty Hospital and American Oncology Institute (AOI) have received National recognition at the AHPI Leadership Awards 2026 held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on September 19 .

The awards were presented during the 4th AHPI Leadership Summit, organised by the Association of Healthcare Providers (India) under the theme, "Sustainable Healthcare Leadership: Balancing Quality, Cost & Trust" .

Mother's Care Children Hospital and Research Centre was honoured with the award for "Leadership Excellence in Patient-Centred Service Quality", recognising its efforts in patient and family centred healthcare delivery and service quality.

Meanwhile, Babina Specialty Hospital and American Oncology Institute were recognised under the category "Excellence in Nursing Leadership & Professional Practice," for their contributions to nursing leadership, professional standards and patient care.

The AHPI Manipur Chapter said the recognition of three healthcare institutions from the State marks an encouraging milestone for Manipur's healthcare sector and reflects the growing emphasis on quality, patient safety, pro- fessional development and continuous improvement.

The AHPI Manipur Chapter has congratulated the management, doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals and support teams of all the three institutions for bringing national recognition to Manipur.

Secretary of the AHPI Manipur Chapter said the recognition was a proud moment for the State's healthcare fraternity and credited the achievements to the doctors, nurses and healthcare teams working to provide safer, compassionate and higher quality care.

The AHPI Manipur Chapter expressed hope that the achievements would encourage more healthcare institutions in the State to strengthen quality systems, patient safety, accreditation, nursing excellence and patient centred practices.

The Chapter also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting quality improvement, capacity building and collaboration among healthcare providers towards building a stronger and more sustainable healthcare ecosystem in Manipur.
