Imphal, May 05 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla today chaired a meeting at the Raj Bhavan and reviewed the progress of ongoing National Highway projects in the State.

During the meeting, MS Deval, Executive Director, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) gave a detailed briefing on the current status of various National Highway projects which are currently under construction in different parts of Manipur.

He also highlighted key challenges affecting project execution.

The Governor directed the officials to implement necessary measures to address these challenges and ensure timely completion of the projects.

Principal Secretary (Works); Commissioner (Home); Secretary (Land Resource); Chief Engineer, PWD and DIG CRPF (Ops) attended the meeting, according to a press release issued by the Governor's Secretariat.

Deputy Commissioners of Ukhrul, Noney, Tamenglong, Senapati, Kangpokpi, Churachandpur and Pherzwal also attended the meeting via video conference, it said.
