LMG Manipur extends financial aid

As part of its ongoing philanthropic efforts, the Like Minded Group (LMG) Manipur extended a helping hand to Thingujam Suresh alias Dhop Singh (38 years) of Naharup Awang Leikai, who is battling kidney failure.
Apart from kidney failure, Suresh has been suffering from multiple health issues, while his only 10-year old daughter is also under medication for a serious lung disease.
In a bid to ease the family's burden, LMG Manipur donated a sum of Rs 20,000 to support his treatment.
The aid initiative was spearheaded by chief advisor Wangkhemcha Shamjai in the presence of secretary, Ojit Sorokhaibam, publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem, Finance Secretary Kunjeshwar Mangsatabam, Asst Secretary Surendra Ningombam, executive member Birla Salam along with other key members.
Speaking in this connection, Ojit Sorokhaibam stated that Suresh's, who used to run his family by driving an auto-rickshaw, is now unable to work.
His wife, a private school teacher, is also struggling to manage due to her husband and their daughter's health condition.
With the family lacking financial support, has no other option but to consider selling their only piece of land to cover rising medical expenses.
He therefore urged the public to come forward and extend their support to the ailing family during this difficult time.
