Imphal, June 20 2025: A book reproduced from the popular shumang leela "Keishamthong Thoibi" by Ngangom Mamta was released today in a function held at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Sanglen, Palace Compound.

Notably, the story of the play "Keishamthing Thoibi" was written by Late Chana Lukhoi.

The book release function was organised by the Manipur State Shumang Leela Council in collaboration with Public Library Mayang Imphal.

It was attended by dignitaries, including Dr Moirangthem Nara Singh, former Minister; Phurailatpam Gunachandra Sharma, lifetime president, Manipur State Shumang Leela Council; Laishram Tombi, president, Manipur State Shumang Leela Council; Oinam Chana Lembi, president, Chana Lukhoi Art Centre; N Sundari, vice president, Public Library Mayang Imphal; Thokchom Sujata, president, Imagi Meira and RK Meghen, former chairman of UNLF .
