Youth urged to enrol as civil defence volunteers

Imphal, May 12 2025: Informing that under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, MY Bharat is actively mobilising youth across the country to enrol as MY Bharat Civil Defence Volunteers, MY Bharat Thoubal & Kakching said the nationwide call is part of the concerted efforts to empower young citizens take up vital roles in national cause, particularly during emergencies and crisis.

According to a MY Bharat Thoubal & Kakching release, the initiative aims to build a well-trained, responsive, and resilient volunteer force that can complement civil administration in times of natural disasters, accidents, public emergencies, and other unforeseen situations.

The release appealed to the youth to step forward and register as MY Bharat Civil Defence Volunteers, explaining that both existing MY Bharat volunteers and new individuals who wish to serve the nation in this capacity may access the official MY Bharat portal: https://mybharat.gov.in for the registration process, the release added.
