CCpur holds additional IEC campaign on DAJGUA

The district administration on Friday organised simultaneous additional Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) IEC and Benefit Saturation camps at the community halls of Elim Veng, New Lamka (for Lamka TD block) and Saidan village (for Saikot sub-division) in Churachandpur district, bringing government services to the doorstep of residents in both areas.
Churachandpur SDO Vidyamari Sridhar, led the campaign at Elim Veng while Saikot SDO Alfred Jamlallun Khaute supervised the event at Saidan, with both camps ensuring on-ground delivery of entitlements, provision of wide range of government schemes and services, in addition to awareness and benefit saturation, directly to the tribal communities.

The campaign was conducted under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
The Elim Veng camp featured seven stalls of various departments, while 10 stalls were set up by various line departments at Saidan village, offering a range of services to residents.
The DAJGUA campaigns at both venues saw enthusiastic participation from residents of the respective areas, as well as nearby villages.
Hundreds of residents from Elim Veng and Saidan village benefited from a wide range of government services, including Aadhaar enrolment and updates, MGNREGA job cards, ration card updates, farmers' registration, Ayushman Bharat Cards (PM-JAY), caste certificates, domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), PM-K1SAN, ICDS benefits, immunisation, Old Age Pension, and Jan Dhan accounts.
Additionally, the Health Department conducted free-health check-ups and distributed free medicines to attendees at the Elim Veng community hall.
The DAJGUA campaign at Saidan community hall, saw participation from various departments and staff, including the lead district manager (SBI), CRISIL Foundation, ICDS Project Saikot, Manipur State Cooperative Office (Churachandpur), Saikot Development, SDO Office-IT, DIC, PHED, and UIDAI (Aadhaar).
Meanwhile, at Elim Veng, participating departments included Agriculture, ICDS, Health, PHED, and IT .
