Four-day ABVP training camp concludes

Imphal, June 30 2025:
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur organised a four-day State Training Camp from June 26 at Thoubal College, with the participation of 208 student delegates from Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Kangpokpi, and Senapati districts.
The closing ceremony marked the culmination of four days of ideological training, leadership development, and personality-building sessions.
ABVP national president Prof Rajsharan Shahi delivered a speech on the organisation's values and role in nation-building as a part of the valedictory ceremony.
The camp had 15 sessions led by experienced ABVP resource persons, covering key topics such as: ABVP's ideology and journey, practical training and working methodology, campus activism and city unit roles, outreach and communication, volunteer behaviour and perspective, leadership development, and responsibilities of an ABVP karyakarta (volunteer).
The inaugural ceremony featured special addresses by Youth Affairs and Sports secretary Naorem Praveen, and Kakching SP Priyadarshini Laishram, who emphasised youth engagement in nation-building.
Participants took part in physical training, group discussions, and cultural programmes, fostering a disciplined and vibrant learning environment.
At the closing ceremony, Prof Rajsharan Shahi commended ABVP Manipur's efforts and urged delegates to apply their learnings in their communities, stressing ideological clarity, teamwork, and societal service.
ABVP Manipur thanked Thoubal College, volunteers, resource persons, and participants for making the camp a success.
