Pact signed for 18 classrooms at TMI school

Churachandpur, August 19 2025:
The Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the construction of 18 classrooms at The Malsawm Initiative (TMI) School.
The pact was signed at the conference hall of the Churachandpur deputy commissioner's office in the presence of deputy commissioner Dharun Kumar and CCI Managing Board officials.
AAI Imphal director Chipemmi Keishing and CCI director Pauzagin Tonsing signed the MoU on behalf of the AAI and the CCI respectively.
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the AAI will construct 18 classrooms for TMI, with the work to be executed by Tunnu Engineering and Consultancy, accprding to CCI director Pauzagin Tonsing.
In the afternoon, AAI officials visited The Malsawm Initiative School, where they were given a warm welcome and presented with various gifts, including paintings.
The Malsawm Initiative School is an educational institution in Churachandpur district, dedicated to providing inclusive education for children with disabilities.
Established in 2011 by the Centre for Community Initiative, the school offers tailored learning plans, including braille and sign language, to support students with diverse needs.
Also known as TMI, the institution has expanded its impact beyond the classroom, benefiting families and the wider community.
