Medical camp held for flood-affected

Imphal, June 15 2025: A free medical camp was conducted on Sunday at Sinsuba Shanglen near Bashikhong Meiraa Club for people affected by the recent flood, drawing over 1,000 visitors throughout the day.

The camp organised by Thingujam Munindro and his family of Khongman Zone 5, was held from 9 am to 4 pm.

Thounaojam Open, who assisted in organising the camp, said the initiative was aimed at providing timely medical assistance to those impacted by the recent flood.

Consultations with specialists were offered across various fields including general medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, paediatrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ENT (head and neck), dermatology, and dental care.

Medicines were also distributed to the attendees.
