AMUCO floats new unit named SATUKO

Imphal, May 11 2025: Sangaithel to Tera United Clubs' Organisation (SATUCO), a newly formed unit of the Imphal West District United Clubs' Organisation (IWDUCO), which is the district unit of All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), was established on Sunday along with the appointment of office bearers.

The meeting held in connection with the formation of the unit on Sunday was attended by AMUCO general secretary Pratap Leishangthem, secretary (organization) Laishram Krishnachandra, publicity secretary Heisnam Phoren, assistant secretary (organisation) Yumkhaibam Inaocha, IWDUCO president Heramani Khaba, general secretary K Momocha, AMUCO former advisor Tompok Likmabam, SLUCO organisation secretary Yumnam Bikram and MEPWAK secretary Mayanglambam Premila.

During the meeting, the office bearers of SATUCO were appointed elected for a three-year term with Ashem Chandrakumar of Tera named as president, Gobin Moirangthem of Maklang as general secretary and Ningthoujam Shekhar of Sangaithel as finance secretary.

The meeting also held an in-depth discussion on the role of AMUCO in safeguarding the territorial integrity of Manipur and stressed the need for joint initiatives in this regard.
