Fertilisers distributed to farmers at Govt rate

Imphal, August 06 2025: Fertilisers were distributed to farmers under the jurisdiction of Imphal East District United Clubs' Organisation (IEDUCO) and Imphal West District United Clubs' Organisation (IWDUCO) at government-approved rate under the aegis of the All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO).

According to a press release issued by IEDUCO, a fertiliser distribution programme was organised in collaboration with Imphal East District Agriculture Officer at Nongada, Imphal East.

The event was attended by IEDUCO president Orendro, secretary Okendro, other executive members of the organisation and officials from the agriculture department.

In a separate statement, IWDUCO informed that 300 bags of urea were distributed to farmers of Phumlou Shiphai area, in coordination with agriculture officers of Imphal West Unit 1 and 2 .

Additionally, 90 bags of urea were distributed to farmers in areas covered by Singjamei to Lilong United Clubs' Organisation (SLUCO) during a programme held at Moirang Subedar community hall in Langthabal Kunja Makha Leikai.

The release further stated that All Mayai Lambi Clubs' Organisation (AMALCO), along with its member organisations EYDO and Samurou Keithel Leikai Meira Lup, organised fertiliser distribution programme at Samurou Keithel, where 210 bags of urea were provided to the local farmers.
