69 Bn CRPF celebrates 45th Raising Day

Imphal, March 06 2025: Mantripukhri-based 69 Battalion CRPF, celebrated its 45th Raising Day, marking over four decades of dedicated service to the nation.

Raised on March 6, 1981 at Hyderabad, the battalion has consistently demonstrated valour and commitment in safeguard of the nation and upholding the rule of law, said a release of the battalion.

As part of the celebration, the battalion organised a series of events including wreath laying ceremony to honour the sacrifices made by its brave soldiers and to highlight the continuing spirit of discipline and camaraderie that defines a battalion.

The celebration concluded with a cultural programme and grand dinner attended by families of battalion's personnel and some families of the brave martyrs.

Speaking at the programme, commandant SA Rojan Zimik extended hearty welcome to Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF IGP Rajendra Narayan Dash, who attended as the chief guest, senior officers and other dignitaries present on the occasion.

The chief guest commended the Battalion for its dedication in the service of the nation while exhorting the personnel to keep the flag flying high and continue its unwavering commitment to future challenges.

"On the occasion of the 45th Raising Day of 69 Battalion, we salute the dedication of the serving and retired personnel and honour the memories of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the nation.

The battalion remains steadfast in its mission to serve and protect the nation," conveyed the Battalion in a release.
