Indian Army observes National and Anti-Terrorism Day at CCpur

CCpur, May 21 2026:
In observance of Anti-Terrorism Day, the Indian Army organised an awareness programme at Living Water High School, Zalenphai village, Churachandpur district, on May 21, 2026 to spread awareness about the dangers of terrorism and promote the values of peace, unity and national integrity.
According to a press release issued by PIB (Defence Wing), approximately 250 students and faculty members participated in die programme.
The event included an address by the Company Commander, screening of an anti-terrorism awareness movie and a motivational lecture highlighting the importance of communal harmony, responsible citizenship and resilience against extremist ideologies.
An Anti-Terrorism pledge was also administered to all participants.
The students actively interacted during the session and expressed their commitment towards maintaining peace and harmony in society.
The programme also emphasized the vital role of youth in safeguarding national unity and rejecting violence and divisive ideologies.
