NHPC Loktak Power Station reaches out to flood victims

Imphal, June 20 2025:
Demonstrating a strong commitment to community welfare, NHPC Loktak Power Station, under the leadership of Upendra Hajra, Head of Project, organised a relief distribution drive for over 500 flood affected families from five relief camps in Khurai Sajor Leikai, Imphal East.
The distribution was held at the Netaji Memorial Club, a key relief camp for those displaced by the recent floods caused by heavy rainfall.
Families received essential supplies, including food, medicines and other essentials to help them through the ongoing crisis.
Speaking at the event, Hajra said, "In this challenging time, NHPC stands with the people of Manipur.
We are committed to supporting their recovery with meaningful action".
Residents and local leaders welcomed the time assistance, praising NHPC's proactive response.
The effort is part of NHPC's larger CSR initiatives focused on disaster relief and community support.
