Viva-voce dates fixed for jamadar recruitment

Imphal, December 18 2024: The schedule for the personal test/interview/ viva-voce of candidates, who have already qualified Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Written Test for direct recruitment of Jamadar (10th and 11th IR Bn & MR/IRBs) in Manipur Police Department has been finalised.

As per a notification issued by DGP (Prisons), the test will be held at MHPC Ltd Office campus near 2nd MR Complex from January 8, 2025 .

Viva-voce for candidates of Imphal West district will be on January 8 and 9, Bishnupur district on January 9 and 10, Imphal East district on January 10 and 11, Thoubal district on January 11 and 13, Kakching, Chandel, Ukhrul, Tengnoupal and Noney districts on January 13, Tamenglong district on January 13 and 14, and candidates of Senapati, Kamjong and Churachandpur districts on January 14 .

For the remaining candidates who do not turn up on the dates mentioned, the same will be held on January 15 at the same venue.

On the other hand, for candidates unable to appear the viva-voce in Imphal due to the prevailing law and order situation, the interview will be held at DHQ, Kangpokpi.

Viva-voce for candidates of Churachandpur district will be held on January 16 and 17 and for candidates of Pherzawl, Kangpokpi and other districts on January 17, with January 18 reserved for candidates who do not turn up on the dates mentioned.

Informing that the reporting time for all the viva-voce sessions shall be 9 am, the notification advised all the candidates to bring their original educational certificates/written test admit card and relevant documents with one photocopy each.
