Imphal, August 02 2025: Security forces arrested three cadres of different banned outfits from different places.

According to a press note released by Manipur Police Control People, security forces arrested an active cadre of banned KCP (MFL), identified as Yumkhaibam Ronaldo Meitei (24) of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai from New Checkon Tribal Colony in Imphal East district on Friday.

Upon questioning, it was found that he was involved in firing shots at the residence of a government official in Imphal West district in the month of March.

Security forces recovered one mobile phone and one Aadhaar card from his possession.

Meanwhile, security forces arrested one active cadre of outfit PREPAK from Wabagai Mairenbam Leikai in Kakching district on Friday.

The cadre has been identified as Yumnam Sushintakumar Singh (26) .

Security forces recovered one 7.65mm pistol and magazine with right live rounds, one mobile phone and one Aadhaar card.

On the other hand, security forces arrested one self-styled lieutenant of PREPAK (Red Army) identified as Lisham Sanayamba Singh alias Thangjinganba alias Thoujal (33) from his residence in Uyumpok Maning Leikai under Sagolmang PS on Friday.

Sanayamba is also involved in carrying out extortion activities for KCP (PWG).

Security forces recovered five demand letters of KCP (PWG) and one mobile phone.
