RIMS clarifies on bogus job notice

Imphal, June 30 2025: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal has clarified that the Institute has not issued any tender notification for outsourcing of manpower services.

According to a press release of RIMS Media Cell, it has come to the notice of Institute that a document purporting to be a tender notification for the outsourcing of manpower services at RIMS is being circulated on various forums, including social media.

The RIMS authority confirmed that no such official tender notification has been issued till date regarding the outsourcing of manpower services, including the alleged recruitment of 54 staff nurses (nursing officers) and 130 MTS posts, totalling 184 positions.

The document which is being circulated appears to be unauthorised and misleading, and the public are advised not to rely on such information unless officially published on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal or the official RIMS website, the Media Cell urged.

It further advised all individuals, stakeholders, and potential bidders concerned to exercise caution and verify any such notices through the official channels.

The administration of RIMS shall issue authentic and verified tender notifications only through official platforms, as per the procedures laid down by the Government of India.

Further information or updates regarding any official tender will be communicated in due course through proper and authorised means.

Any attempt to circulate fake or misleading notices will be dealt with seriously under applicable legal provisions, it cautioned.
