Writers Platform Manipur celebrates 3rd foundation day

Imphal, February 21 2026: Writers Platform Manipur (WRITPLAT) observed its third foundation day today at the Loktak Hall of Manipur Press Club today.

The event was graced by Keirao AC MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei as the chief guest; WRITPLAT president Yumnam Kumar as the functional president; WRITPLAT chief patron Dr RK Nayansana; patron member Haobam Chitra and Seva manipur CEO Dr Kh Chinglen as the guests of honour.

As a part of the event, Lairenmayum Tamphasana's book of poems "Amamba Wayel" and Gaitri Oinam's "Punshigi Anganba Ayuk" were released.

Moreover, WRITPLAT's literary annual cash awards were presented to eight writers.

The awards come with a cash prize, certificate and shawl.
