AMMIK issues guidelines for musical concerts

Imphal, May 29 2025: Based on deliberations during the executive meeting held on Thursday related to ongoing situation in the state and conduct of musical events, Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK) has issued rules and regulations for holding concerts effective from June 1 .

In a release, AMMIK general secretary M Dhananjoy Singh informed that a meeting of music arrangers will be held on May 31 to ensure smooth conduct of concerts.

The regulations included start of musical events by 5 to 6 pm and wind, up by 10:30 pm, performance of each artiste should be of 20 minutes.

In case of violation of the guidelines, the artistes concerned shall not be allowed to perform again and face appropriate action, it cautioned.
