NHM director assures to address shortages

Kakching, June 21 2024:
Acknowledging shortage of staff and infrastructure of Kakching Khunou Primary Health Centre; National Health Mission (NHM) Manipur, state mission director Dr Somorjit Ningombam has assured to address the inadequacies at the earliest possible.
He gave the assurance while attending the International Yoga Day celebration organised jointly by Kakching Khunou PHC and All Manipur AYUSH Doctors' Association (AMADA) under the aegis of NHM Manipur at the PHC on Friday.
Chief Medical Officer, Kakching Dr Th Rajen, AYUSH state nodal officer Dr K Benedict Maring and AMADA president Dr A Paona also attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Somorjit acknowledged the complaints of shortages on different fronts being faced by the PHC.
He assured the gathering of bringing up their complaints to the health services director and filling up the staff shortage as soon as possible.
Besides, he would take up initiatives to address the infrastructure shortage at the earliest and encouraged the gathering to practice Yoga regularly in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.
