Two-day DISHA meeting concludes in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, July 13 2025:
The two-day District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting for Bishnupur district concluded at the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat DC Office, here, on Saturday.
The meeting was organised by District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Bishnupur, was chaired by Lok Sabha MP Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, who is the DISHA Committee chairperson.
At the meeting, MP Bimol explained that the quarterly DISHA meeting serves as a platform to monitor development activities at the district level and ensure that implementation of schemes and projects is both efficient and time-bound.
He further stated that motivation at every level is essential.
emphasising that even a single step towards positive change can pave the way for greater achievements.
Dr Bimol then urged all district level officers (DLOs) and stakeholders to strive for the district's progress, setting an example for others and nurturing a shared vision of inclusive development.
He called for continued support and cooperation to achieve these goals.
Detailed progress reports and PowerPoint presentations were made by DLOs from the departments of veterinary and animal husbandry, district women and child development.

The review covered achievements and ongoing progress of various centrally-sponsored schemes and projects, including the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP), National Artificial Insemination Programme (NAIP), National Livestock Mission (NLM), Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM), National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD), Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme, safety and protection of women - One Stop Centre, Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP), National Food Security Act (NFSA), Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), Parivahan, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Khelo India, and Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), among others.
Following the meeting, Dr Bimol also visited the One Stop Centre, Bishnupur, within the Mini Secretariat complex, to assess its infrastructure and functioning.
The meeting had the participation of ADM Bishnupur T Opendra, nominated DISHA Committee members, and DLOs.
