Sadu church celebrates diamond jubilee

Imphal, May 05 2025: Sadu Baptist Church on Monday celebrated its diamond jubilee, commemorating 60 years of God's providence, unwavering love, and faithfulness, bringing together church members, leaders, and invitees in a spirit of gratitude and worship.

The outdoor celebration was led by T Kamreng Koren with reverend Semi Serto performing the invocation prayer.

Baptist Church, Saikul pastor Dr Reverend Boilen released the Jubilee balloon, while the jubilee choir presented the theme song of the celebration.

As a part of the event, the jubilee stone was unveiled by Sadu Koireng Baptist Church pre-ordained pastor T Ren-glien Koren in the name of the Triune God, followed by a prayer.

On the same day, the church granary was inaugurated by church pioneer T Siekkam, followed by plantation of Moringa tree saplings in memory of former pastors.

The programme concluded with a prayer by Baptist Church, Awang Longa Koireng pastor K Paolhohao.

In the indoor programme, church pioneer T Siekam Koren highlighted an overview of the church's founding, followed by speeches from Saikul Baptist Church elder Seikhohao and KYO (M) president Boipu Koreng.

APBF Mission chairman reverend Dr Jolly Rimai delivered a speech on "Faithful in Stewardship" from 1 Corinthians 4:2, emphasising spiritual accountability and fruits.

The event wrapped up with a closing song by the jubilee choir and a prayer from Ngarong Baptist Church pastor James, followed by a Jubilee feast.
