Dr Y Sundari takes helm as TNAI Manipur president

Imphal, May 21 2026:
The Manipur State Branch of the Trained Nurses' Association of India (TNAI) successfully conducted its state-level elections to appoint new office bearers for the 2026-2030 term.
The election proceedings were held at Hotel Imphal on May 18.The election resulted in the appointment of 13 key office bearers who will lead the association for the next four years.
The newly elected primary officers include- Dr Yumnam Sundari Devi (president), Chongtham Premlata (vice president), Loukrakpam Sanjarani (secretary), and S Kiranmala Devi (treasurer).
The polling was conducted under the supervision of M Jibanlata Devi, who served as the Returning Officer.
The event was further graced by several high-ranking dignitaries from the national and regional nursing community, including Prof Th Nandarani, national vice president (North East Region); and Vatchala Dhinakaran, assistant secretary general, TNAI New Delhi.
