Restrictions imposed on vehicles inside Khuman Lampak SC

Imphal, May 09 2025: In view of the need to preserve and main tain sanctity, discipline, and security of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, being the premier sports infrastructure of the state, Directorate of Youth Affairs & Sports has directed that plying of vehicle inside the complex will be restricted with immediate effect.

An order issued by Youth Affairs & Sports director Dr Mayengbam Veto Singh said that all the gates, with exception of the third northern gate of Sports Complex, shall remain closed for all vehicles except for case on exceptional circumstances which will be considered based on requirement.

The said third northern gate of Khuman Lampak (from east to west) will be used only for entry and exit of official vehicles, vehicles of 9 IRB/security vehicles, and vehicles with flag post with the entitled functionaries only.

Entry of players and officials on foot will be allowed on production of I-card or on verification through the said gate, elaborated the director.

All public vehicles shall be allowed to enter only from the Main Gate (Southern) with parking strictly restricted to the parking slot opposite the Indoor Stadium near the main gate entrance from May 9.Identity verification jvill be carried out by security personnel at all entry points.

All vehicles brought by the public for recreational walking, loitering, and non-sporting purpose within the complex will be allowed to park at the designated area.

Law enforcement and complex security personnel are requested to enforce this order strictly, mentioned the order, adding that no road side parking will be allowed inside the campus.

Any violation of the order will invite penal action as per the existing facility usage guidelines and under relevant provisions of the law, Veto cautioned.
