Imphal, May 05 2025: RKCS Birth Centenary Celebration Committee organised the 22nd foundation day of RKCS Art Museum at its Keishamthong Office on Monday.

The celebration was attended by Committee chairperson Dr K Sobita Devi and State Kala Akademi awardee Joychandra Sharma as the presidium members.

Secretary RK Budhimanta presented a brief account on establishment of the museum.

Meanwhile, the 2nd foundation day of 'Apunba Tengbang Lup, Toubul (ATLT), an apex body of 12 organisations under Toubul Gram Panchayat, was held at Ibudhou Yangoiningthou community hall on Sunday.

The programme was attended by Thoubal Zilla Parishad former up adhyaksha Takhel lambam Nungshi, ATLT president Thoudam Shyamsundar, Ngaikhong Khullen Zilla Parishad ex member Th Bira, Ngaikhong Khullen ZP Administrative Committee member Kh Sanamatum, Toubul GP Administrative Committee chairman Th Ningthemani as presidium members.

As part of the event, a one-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to those, who sacrificed their lives in upholding the territorial integrity of Manipur in the ongoing crisis, and in memory (late) Mani Khuman, a prominent leader of Toubul.

The other highlight of the day's event included presentation of 'Kabui Jagoi' by Toubul Kabui Meira Paibi, entertainment programme by meira paibi units and acrobatic show by IASDO.

Meritorious students and youths of Toubul, who excelled in their respective fields were felicitated and meira paibi activists presented simple gifts in appreciation of their activism during the ongoing turmoil.

ATLT was formed to provide relief to people affected by the ongoing conflict.
