VBS held at Ukhrul town

Ukhrul, June 20 2025: The four days Vacation Bible School (VBS) of Phungyo Baptist Church, Ukhrul began on Thursday in nine different localities of Ukhrul town.

The VBS held under the theme "Champion winning with God" was organised for the children of Ukhrul town as a routine programme during the summer break for ensuring children spent their holidays engaging in meaningful and productive activities.

The director, speakers and worship leaders of the Phungyo Baptist Church, Sunday staff were the resource persons of bible camp.

The four days camp witnesses exciting events for the children in order to attract them into fruitful activities that include singspiration, dancing, recreation time, house wise competition, family time, gospel service etc while the teenagers were educated with the biblical doctrines of God fearing life such as God's grace, love, forgiveness, salvation, moral discipline and Christian ethics and further for personality development.

The VBS will end on June 22 (Sunday), and will have a combined programme of all localities campers to expose their talents at Phungyo Baptist Church Tangrei, Ukhrul.

Over 1500 school going children, including kindergarten from nine different centres (Awontang, Alungtang, Tangrei, Greenland, Rayotang, Wino bazar, Viewland, Phungreitang and Lanai) enrolled for the vacation bible school classes and was organised by their respective locality, sponsored by Phungyo Baptist Church, Ukhrul.
