AMGSU congratulates Dinesh Adhikari on commissioning into Indian Army

Imphal, December 16 2025: The All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) has extended its heartiest congratulations to Dinesh Adhikari, son of Chatra Bahadur Adhikari of Kanglatongbi, Manipur, on his commissioning as an officer of the Indian Army.

AMGSU in a release stated that Dinesh Adhikari, bom and brought up in Paspati village, successfully passed out from the prestigious Indian Military Academy on December 13, marking a proud milestone for his family, the Gorkha community and the state of Manipur.

Hailing as a true son of the Gorkha community, his achievement reflects the rich legacy of valour, discipline, loyalty and honour traditionally associated with the Gorkhas, said the AMGSU.

AMGSU added that his success stands as a shining example of dedication, perseverance and sacrifice, and will serve as an inspiration to the youth, particularly students aspiring to serve the nation.

The Union expressed hope that his journey in the armed forces will be guided by integrity in leadership, courage in the face of adversity and an unwavering commitment to the service of the nation.
