AR holds awareness programme on Op Sindoor

Assam Rifles, upholding its legacy as the "Sentinels of the North East", conducted a series of impactful awareness programmes on 'Operation Sindoor' across Manipur, engaging nearly 1000 students and cadets along with faculty in various educational institutions.
The awareness drive, running from September 11 to 12, 2025, was aimed at instilling values of national security, leadership, and civic responsibility among the youth, while fostering enduring bonds between the force and academic institutions.
As per a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the outreach commenced on September 11 in Churachandpur district, where Bethany Christian College and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School hosted the Assam Rifles team.
The following day, sessions continued at St Paul's Institute and St Mary's Higher Secondary School.
With over 743 students participating across these four institutions, the events were marked by enthusiastic engagement and thoughtful interaction.
Through compelling visual presentations and dynamic exchanges, the Assam Rifles representative conveyed the strategic depth and technological sophistication of 'Operation Sindoor', while emphasizing values of courage, unity, and service to the Nation.
Simultaneously, Assam Rifles reached out to 150 NCC cadets at DM College, Imphal.
The session, attended by senior officials from NCC Group Headquarters, highlighted the shared mission of nurturing disciplined and committed citizens.
Cadets responded with keen interest, actively participating in discussions that bridged military insight with civic ideals.
Earlier, at Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Pallel in Kakching district, 100 students took part in a vibrant session that underscored the school's commitment to fostering patriotic and responsible youth.
The Principal welcomed the initiative, and the students engaged deeply with the presentation and dialogue.
Across all venues, the Assam Rifles representative was warmly received, with tokens of appreciation presented by host institutions.
The events concluded with meaningful interactions between students, faculty, and the speaker, reinforcing mutual respect and collaboration.
