Assam Rifles inspires youth with 'Operation Sindoor' presentation

Imphal, September 08 2025: In a spirited initiative to cultivate national awareness and civic responsibility among students, Assam Rifles conducted an impactful outreach programme at UNACCO School, Meitram, centred around 'Operation Sindoor' .

The event drew over 800 participants, including students, faculty, and media personnel, creating a vibrant platform for engagement and inspiration.

As per a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the programme commenced with a ceremonial lamp-lighting, led by the guest speaker, the Principal, and the Headmistress, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment.

In her opening remarks, Headmistress Nganthoi emphasized the school's mission to nurture responsible and patriotic citizens.

The guest speaker from Assam Rifles then delivered a compelling presentation on 'Operation Sindoor', enriched with video segments that offered a vivid glimpse into the military strategy and effective use of technology that underpinned the operation.

The session highlighted how coordinated planning and modem capabilities were harnessed to ensure mission success, offering students a deeper understanding of operational challenges and the broader significance of national security.
