The event provided services such as Aadhaar detail updates, voter ID corrections, bank account opening, and free medical check-ups, among others.
Bobby lauded the increasing participation of rural women in self-help groups and village-level federations, noting that women who once remained confined to household chores are now engaging in income generating activities.
She described this as a positive step toward building a more self-reliant and inclusive society.
Boby also acknowledged the important role that VLFs play in facilitating development works at the Panchayat level.
Potsangbam GP chairperson Maisnam Mangi, who presided over the function, said that the mela helped local residents access essential services without the hassle of visiting multiple government offices, saving time and effort.
He stressed the importance of holding such events in remote and rural areas where connectivity and access to government services are limited.
Khonghampat GP chair person W Chandrakumar and Haorang Sabal CD Block cluster coordinator Sagolsem Chandrika attended the programme as guests of honour.
