BB Films celebrates Silver Jubilee

Imphal, June 01 2026: BB Films, Imphal celebrated its 25th year with a Silver Jubilee function held today at its auditorium in Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai.

Cultural activist Narendra Ningomba, playwright and State Kala Akademi awardee Ranjit Ningthouja, and BB Films chief advisor Soibamcha Indrakumar attended as presidium members.

Ningthoukhongjam Ongbi Wahengbam Satyarani Devi and Longjam Brajamani Devi were special guests.

Staff of the film company were felicitated during the event.

A short film titled "BB Films: The Journey So Far" was also screened.

Speaking on the occasion, BB Surjit said a BB Films Mini Film City is being planned to better support Manipuri cinema and appealed for public support.

BB Films' popular releases include Ema Laiphadibi, Thabaton parts 1-3, and Chinglensana, with more films currently in postproduction.
