143 Bn CRPF celebrates Raising Day

Imphal, March 25 2026: The 143 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), celebrated its 23rd Unit Raising Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at its headquarters in Imphal on March 24.The event was graced by Rajendra Narayan Dash, IG, Manipuri Nagaland Sector, as the chief guest.

The celebrations commenced with a solemn tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, reaffirming the battalion's commitment to service and sacrifice.

This was followed by a Sainik Sammelan led by Omnath Chattaraj, 2I/C, Commandant (CCD), 143 Bn, CRPF, who highlighted the battalion's glorious journey, operational achievements, and contributions to internal security and community welfare.

A special mela was also organised at the Unit HQr, featuring various stalls, local vendors, games for families and children, sports activities, and a grand cultural programme.

Invitees, local dignitaries, and families of personnel actively participated, making the occasion vibrant and memorable.

Omnath Chattaraj, on behalf of Ravinder Sharma, Commandant, expressed gratitude to all officers, personnel, and their families for their unwavering dedication and support.
