Athouba Team extends aid to inmates

Jiribam, September 20 2026: In a bid to extend humanitarian aid, Athouba Team Cachar provided relief items to the inmates of Child Jesus Catholic Church in Kalinagar Part 2, Jiribam.

The relief items included two tarpaulin, twenty hygiene kits and twenty mosquito nets.

The said items were provided to the students of St Dominic School Hostel, Faitol in particular.

It may be noted that there are 19 inmates in total comprising seven girls, nine boys, two teachers and one female helper.

Today's visit was attended by Athouba Team captain Irengbam Loken,vice-captain Khulern Prasanjit, treasurer Dr Chandrababu along with other members.

Pastor of the Church Adum Panmei expressed gratitude to the team for the humanitarian approach.
