Bishnupur Forest Dvn organises painting competition

Moirang, May 15 2026: In connection with the upcoming observance of International Day for Biological Diversity (IBD), a district-level spot-painting competition for students of Classes IX to XII from Bishnupur district, was held today at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School.

Organised by the Bishnupur Forest Division, the competition was conducted under the theme "Acting Locally for Global Impact" and witnessed participation from 62 students representing 12 educational institutions across the district.

The top three winners of the competition will go on to represent Bishnupur district at the State-level spot-painting competition to be held on May 22, coinciding with the global observance of International Day of Biological Diversity.

Range Officer of Moirang, RK Sadananda, along with officials and staff of Forest Department, were also present during the event.
