Chandel, September 12 2025: A three-day training programme on "Bamboo and Cane Crafts" under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, concluded today at Lambung Community Hall, Chandel.

The programme, organised by the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Chandel, commenced on September 10, 2025, with 60 participants undergoing hands-on training in bamboo and cane craft-making.

The valedictory function was graced by DFO Chandel, Dr N Munal Meitei; former president of CNPO, David Boyes; Lambung Village Chief Lh Noah; and Master Trainer DL Indu Maring as presidium members.

The initiative aimed at skill development and livelihood promotion through sustainable utilisation of bamboo and cane resources in the district.
