CFPA observes 10th foundation day

Imphal, December 30 2025: The 10th foundation day of Cultural Foundation of Performing Arts (CFPA) was held today at the Community Hall of Mangjil Development Committee, Brahmapur Mangjil.

The ceremony was graced by Yaikhom Hemanta Kumar, retd Professor, Sangit Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan as the chief guest; G Dharmadas, Joint Director, Department of Art & Culture as the guest of honour and Laishram Kerani, president, CFPA as the functional president.

During the ceremony, cultural programs were showcased including performances of Bal Krishna Nartan, Krishna Roop and Surya Pranam dance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Yaikhom Hemanta Kumar said that CFPA has produced notable artistes since its establishment 10 years ago.

Expressing happiness upon the achievements of the Foundation, he highlighted the role of artistes in bringing Manipuri culture to the forefront.
