Imphal, August 25 2025: Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) will be organising the 11th Irawat Ningsing Painting and Essay Competition on September 28 in three districts namely Imphal, Thoubal and Bishnupur.

Speaking to the media today, AIMS secretary general Oinam Amarjit Meetei said that AIMS has been organising the competition every year to educate the younger generation about Lamyanba Hijam Irawat's sacrifices and services to Manipur.

"The competition is being held in connection with the Lamyanba Irawat Ningsing Thabum (month-long memorial observation of Lamyanba Irawat)", said Amarjit while adding that venues/centres for the competition will be announced soon.

He also shared that prizes will be distributed to the winners of the competition on the occasion of Irawat Day, on September 30 .
